چکیده

Abstract. Based on the space curve meshing equation, a novel helical gear mechanism with improved geometry is presented. First, equations of theoretical contact curves were derived based theory. Then, tooth surfaces concave–convex form constructed, depending curves. The profiles as corrected by predestining designed transmission errors. effect center distance error errors was studied, and effects modifications maximum stresses also investigated. results show that drive become much smoother. Maximum are decreased synchronously.

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

Strength Check Analysis for Gear Shaft of Automobile Transmission

As the main drive components of the automobile transmission, the performance of gear shaft plays an important role on transmission performance. Aiming at the existing problems of the traditional strength check method of gear shaft, the objective of this study is to take a five-speed transmission as an example, to accomplish the strength analysis of gear shaft of the automobile transmission base...

Nonlinear Dynamics Analysis of a Gear-Shaft-Bearing System with Breathing Crack and Tooth Wear Faults

Considering backlash, time-varying mesh stiffness and radial clearance of bearing, nonlinear dynamic model of gear bearing flexible shaft system is established taking into account breathing crack in shaft and tooth wear. Nonlinear dynamic equations are solved by Runge-Kutta method. Effect of backlash, crack in shaft and tooth wear faults on the nonlinear dynamic behavior of gear-shaft-bearing s...
